I have a diverse culinary background, which includes cooking in the galley of a tall ship, teaching cooking classes to high school kids, personal chef-ing for a macrobiotic family, and chopping onions in the kitchen of a diner. I have always loved vegetables, both eating them and learning about them. Currently I am pursuing a PhD in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota.
